Funding
Over the past years, I’ve received support and funding from multiple sources for my open-source work. Without this support, I wouldn’t have the time and freedom to work on the projects I think are important for Bitcoin. I publish this for transparency and to give credit. The funding is no-strings-attached. I’m not affiliated with the supporters in any other way.
Expenses
Generally, I use the funding to cover:
- hosting: e.g. VPSs and domains
- hardware: e.g. server, laptop, work phone, ..
- travel: e.g. to conferences or CoreDev
- rent: e.g. a dedicated office room
- admin: e.g. accounting
- a modest salary for myself
- taxes
